An Associate Degree in Fashion Design is the first step in a rewarding career within the competitive world of the fashion industry. Successful graduates can apply for entry-level positions such as Pattern-cutter, Assistant Designer, Fashion Stylist, Buyer, Assistant Textiles Technologist, Production, or Sales.
Due to The nature of the subject, the course is heavily weighted towards coursework and practical skills so you will need to have a flair for design, color and have a creative aptitude. If you are more interested in the commercial side such as ‘Stock Buyer’ then you will need to show that you have good business acumen.
