Love animals? Become a Veterinary Technician! With the field projected to grow in the next ten years, the demand for professional veterinary assistants will increase. The Veterinary Technician program will help you learn how to keep animals healthy, care from them when they are ill and save their lives. The curriculum focuses on teaching students how to obtain animal health records, serve on a professional veterinary staff and deal with pet owners. Students learn to assist in surgical procedures and wash, feed and care for animals. Veterinary technicians enjoy jobs in veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, kennels or laboratories.
